that our own reads count as traffic? Cause I seldom edit whilst writing. I get sick of it and come back later and read it with new eyes and edit over a day or two. I'm going to be crushed to find out Im the only one reading my hubs. CRUSHED I SAY!

      I think so.
I have a hub that I've never published.   It has 4 views. That must've been me, editing it,   'cause no one else is supposed to even be able to read unpublished hubs.

          haha.
Well, the times when you read your own hub are counted as coming from Hubpages, not from outside traffic.

Just don't click on the ads on your own hubs;  from what I've heard, that's against the rules.

I wish you wouldn't have told me that... now I want to do it more than anything else on earth.

Yes, your edits count as reads on HP.  It is an irritation.

After a while though you may become irritated with HP reads full stop.

Because the money game is out there - Google, Facebook, other people who don't know you from diddley.

My problem always was writing stuff to amuse Hubbers.  The Google game is less amusing.

It varies.   Sometimes I think I am a writer.  Then an artist.

Then I check my Google stats and discover I am neither.
