I'm not familiar with that page or message. I'll ping Marina, our ad expert, to see if she is familiar with this error message.

wowtgp, it sounds like you applied as 'hubpages.com' and their auto-system detected it as a duplicate. Are you still unable to apply?

I have reapplied for Adesnse. Kindly explain what should I do to avoid this issue if I get rejected again.

I haven't received any email about disapproval  from them yet. Dunno what's going on.

If you just reapplied, it can take a few weeks before you hear back from Google. The email might arrive in your spam folder. Hang tight and keep publishing, but do not apply again in the meantime as that can hurt your chances.

Did you  mistakenly list hubpages.com as your website instead of your subdomain?

      Nope.

It sounds like you used the wrong url to apply.  You need to use the url of your profile page: http://wowtgp.hubpages.com/

wowtgpposted 11 years agoin reply to this

I used the same url you are suggesting for approval. I have resubmitted my application though.

Maybe it was just a glitch or someone clicked the wrong box.  Normally that rejection comes from people using the base hubpages url.

As you are a resident of India and having only been on HubPages for 3 weeks, Google is most likely going to deny your application because their terms for residents of your country specifies 6 months of established web presence before acceptance.

You may want to make sure you have fully read the AdSense TOS as it pertains to your home country to make sure you meet all the requirements.

They would have been more specific about there reason had they denied my application on the basis of my nationality. I think the error occurred because of some other reason.

    Hi wowtgp,

Google's terms and conditions state that residents of India and China have to establish their sites for atleast  months, before they can approve... Most likely that is the reason your submission got rejected, as much as mine... So for six months enjoy hubbing... Besides, they will not specify the reason for rejection and would not respond even if you send a query on the same...

  7. Savio Dawson profile image91
    Savio Dawsonposted 11 years ago

Have to establish their sites for atleast 6 months.... missed that in the previous post

When you apply for AdSense you must do it directly from HubPages not by going to the AdSense website!!! If you try to go sign up via AdSense website you will most likely get declined... I had issues with that when I signed up years ago.

  10. lovebuglena profile image87
    lovebuglenaposted 11 years ago

Also once you apply for AdSense and get declined you cannot reapply for AdSense again with same email address. It must be a different one and one that wasn't previously used to apply for AdSense.

    1. wowtgp profile image61
wowtgpposted 11 years agoin reply to this

But, I was able to reapply with the same email address. No issues faced at all.

  11. lovebuglena profile image87
    lovebuglenaposted 11 years ago

Wow! That is interesting. When I was applying for AdSense with my initial email I was told I cannot use that email sad and had to create a new one specifically for AdSense.

Savio Dawsonposted 11 years agoin reply to this

I concur with wowtgp... Lovebuglena, I actually applied from the same email id thrice and did not find the problem you mention... But then sanity prevailed and I left it at that so that I can reapply after 6 months..

@wowtgp - Let us know the outcome, so that if Big G indeed had a change of heart, I can apply too.... :-)

I have reapplied a little while ago. Let's see what happens.

I just logged in to my Adesense a/c and found out that they have disapproved my application again. I am OK with the rejections, but the reason is uncomprehending. Can anyone explain what it means?

"In order to use AdSense monetization products on your website, you must have access to edit the source code of the webpages where you'd like the ads to be displayed."

I think I am not going to reapply before six months, but I have a right to know that why I was rejected.

First of all can you post a clear image! I must tell you that you needn't wait for 6 months or something. Just write 20 quality hubs and then resubmit. But when you resubmit, be careful with your link! Type in http://wowtgp.hubpages.com and don't make a mistake of typing http://hubpages.com.

And one more thing. Read this article carefully. This may help you. http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/signup-AdSense

OK, I got an email from them. The reason they rejected  my  Adsense request  is insufficient content. It's really strange, because I have seen people getting approval as soon as 2-3 hubs were published. I am gonna keep writing and reapply from Adsense after some time.

@shravan - That's good news... How long since you joined? and How long did it take to get your adsense approval? Please let me know so that I can apply again... I have 20 hubs like you said..
