I really need feedback. I do not understand why sometimes my hubs are featured and sometimes not. They are formatted about all the same. Is adding more better? What are the good basics to assure you get page views. I plan to devote at least one day a week to reading and giving feed back to other new hubbers. This is of some value. However, without some formal way to get feedback from successful hubbers it is limited to our knowledge as "newbies"/
Hey Rebecca Furtado,
It might be that your Hubs are, in general, on the edge of our minimum quality standards, so looking at our Hub rating scale and shooting for a Hub of an eight+ score across the board can make a difference (having a score of eight gives you a very wide safety margin with regard to getting sufficient quality ratings to have a Hub Featured).
Here's the scale: http://hubpages.com/help/hub_hop_table#informational
Hope that helps!!
Do you use the goals section in the upper right hand corner of your hub? I am new also - and I have written 6 Hubs. 5 of them have been featured. For now it seems to me that using this tool is the key.
This tool is just one of the keys. Articles need to be of good quality and have meaningful content as well. Sounds like you are doing something right though...keep up the good work!

I have recently written hub http://michalwrotter.hubpages.com/hub/P … n-of-2015. Could anyone from experienced hubbers give me a feedback about it please? It does not met the quality and I would like to know why.My personal opinion is: Must be the grammar issue or a picture layout.

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs featured, which again seemed ok. Now magically overnight, I have all these codes now...

On Friday we rolled out a way to quickly solicit feedback on Hubs that aren’t Featured for quality. If you have a Hub that is not Featured, all you need to do is click on the link at the bottom of the email you received. Clicking the link will post a brief message to the Improving Your Hub Forum...

I see this message when my Hub is rejected: "Heads up! It looks like your Hub is not cleared for publication because it did not pass the Quality Assessment Process. No need to fret; every new Hubber goes through Boot Camp, and all you need to do is improve the Hub so that it meets our quality...

Published a hub on Oklahoma (please don’t get started on how it might be too generic – I had fun doing it). It became the template for my following hubs on Arizona and New Mexico. The Oklahoma one published just fine. The Arizona and New Mexico ones are now Not Featured due to Quality....
