"waiting on hubpages"-Reload page and get this message!!!

    I have seen this constantly the past week on Hubpages. I wouldn't think much of it, but I have noticed on my Verizon jet-pack that my data usage keeps "moving" when this happens!!! Is the hubpage downloading???  Most times I will close out of hubpages now when this happens.

      Hmm... that's odd! It might have something to do with the ads on a particular page you're on.... maybe. I'll check with Marina and Matt!

          Got it. Matt, Marina, and Paul Deeds have all looked into it this morning and have not found anything that could be the cause, but we're all keeping our eyes out for whatever it might be. smile

              I just tested using Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 10 using my Comcast ISP connection and was unable to reproduce the issue.

              Are you able to do a bandwidth test?
              It is possible your ISP is throttling your connection.
              You might also have a slow mobile broadband connection where you are depending upon your providers coverage area.

              I also see you are using Internet Explorer in Windows 8.
              Does the issue persist if you use a different browser like Chrome or Firefox?
              Is the machine you are using a Windows RT device?

                Matthew; I am using an ASUS with W8, IE 10 with a 3G connection. I do have a strong 3G connection here. This only happens on Hubpages and not on other webpages.
                It has not been as bad today though.
                This computer is only a week and a half in use, so I haven't had time to fill it with junk yet. lol I will look at the links you provided to see if I can find something there.
