Why, oh, why are we being subjected to these religion and politics forums even when we immediately move ourselves over the the Tutorials and Community to get away from them? Is HP staff EVER going to have mercy on the hubbers who want to stick to HubPages topics and isolate those rant fests to another part of the forums?
Or maybe you could eliminate them on HP entirely and start a new website called "formerhubpagesranttopics". Make the participants pay a monthly subscription fee for the privilege of creating irritating forum headings and raving at each other. It could subsidize this one until they all died of apoplexy.
We have it in our backlog to separate out these Forums; we're just working through our current projects first- there are lots of bugs to fix, and we want to make sure the site is running as smoothly as possible.
Thanks for your patience!
Also... we've totally thought of doing that. But we're trying to be nice.

I am new here so it's possible this has been suggested before. How about a debate forum, separate from the other forums, where contentious topics can be debated? So, if people wanted to discuss, say, a...

I read both forum entries and answers/questions entries but the two features seem to overlap. Many of the questions asked in "answers" are technical questions asked by hubbers about HP. Some elicit long...
