I have copied the list of 'recent posts' on a site called holidaySTOLENworlds.net (with the world STOLEN removed because I don't want to provide a link to their site.)
My article titled 'Why Children Should Be Taught to Tell Lies' has been on their site since February. The bottom of the page shows they are flogging it to death. No wonder my stats for it look so abysmal.
"Posted in Uncategorized | Tagged Best Friend, Body Language, Distant Town, Half An Hour, Interruption, Knees, Modesty, Oncoming Traffic, Police Officer, Potential Victims, Public Telephone, Responsible parents are encouraged to teach their children to tell lies as part of their self-protection strategy. Telling lies might help save your child's life., Singlets, Soccer Game, Soccer Team, Spirits, Sweaters, Twenty Minutes, Walking On The Side, Warmth, Water Bottles | Leave a comment"
Anyway, here's a list of some of the pages they are promoting. I suspect at least some of these are hubs I have read before. There may be more stolen hubs in the various categories so I suggest you check them out.

I just check out the site. Didn't bother to look for my hubs since I'm so new here. However, I'm confused by what the point of this site is. They don't have any ads up or products to sell. Are they making money somehow? The person (I assume its a singe person) is clearly not a writer, probably does not speak English as a first language. The one they they clearly wrote doesn't make any sense. At the top of one of their pages that wrote this:
You can do research to make your vacation in this site, reliable information can be found. Because the holiday is important to do. Holidays Keep your expectations high! Check out all the categories that you want, vacation holiday you deserve!
A good weekend everyone!
And yet you CAN'T "make your vacation on this site" that I can see. I decided to leave a comment, which I'm sure gets moderated and deleted. I used a fake name and email address because I don't want them knowing my name and coming after my work next. I said STOP STEALING OTHER PEOPLE'S HARD WORK! You're a fraud and a ton of people know it.
I doubt my attempts to protect us all won't go very far, but I had fun doing it.
Thanks for the Heads Up...
Do go through the motions and file your infringement paperwork... it makes a statement as important as your post here is! Good on you...
I second that! Thanks for keeping us posted, LongTimeMother.
What infringement paperwork do we file? My jaw surgery hub is on this site.
File a DMCA with google for starters or write to the host of that site.
One of my hubs was stolen word for word. I filed a DMCA with Google and the page was removed from their search results the next day. Here is the DMCA link https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools … &pid=0
Thanks LongTimeMother, just checked it out nothing I could see of mine but do think some other hubber's work may be there and anyone done any review style travel hubs should definitely check this out.
Thank you for this information. Upon looking at this list I noticed none of my works were there, so what does that say about my hubs? Not good enough for thieves.
This is not only sick, this is pitiful. There must be a way to prevent text on Hub Pages from being copied and pasted... otherwise this problem just gets worse.
We could copyright our hubs, but even that would cost money. I think I'll wait until some of my work is stolen before I panic.
Thank you LongTimeMother for keeping us posted. The issue of stealing hubs is on the rise. Well, none of my hubs are there on this site either. Nonetheless need to stay alert.
I just saw this post and one of the title:
How to Make Cute Birthday Card for a Best Friend
happens to be my hub. How do I know who is copying my hub? Please advise. thanks
I have not check those sites yet but I hope that one day google will find a good reason to remove and flag them forever. Thanks for sharing and updating us, hubbers, it is a great help and worth to try checking which article you published was stolen.
Google cannot remove content on someone else's server. At most they can remove it from the index in their own search engine, leaving all other search engines still showing it. It is also still possible to reach the site via a link, just as it is our own hubs when they are not featured.
I'm sure there are a few familiar topics in the list but I've not had the time to search titles and see which other hubbers have had their work stolen.
Sorry you're among them, emilybee and peachpurple. Was yours on the same site info-tutor?
Feels a bit strange to find myself almost regretting that Kenneth and Yarddog2k are not among the victims. lol. I'm sure it is no reflection on your writing, gents ... no doubt your turn will come. (Does that help???)
I will have to find the time to search for quotes from my other hubs that are currently suffering a stats drop, but with my husband bed-bound and out of action when it comes to taking care of our little farm there's not enough spare hours in my day at the moment to play detective. Hope the travel site with the audacity to feature completely unrelated stolen topics gets closed down as more people complain. That would be a start.
Thanks again to those offering links, advice etc to others. We need to keep each other informed.
We appreciate you very much for the information about these sites, but for me, I'm happy to be on a lower level of hub production---for if I were among the victims, I'd lose sleep and dear friend, I need my sleep.
Also list all of your articles with Google Alerts. You will need to post all of your articles by link with Google but it is worth it to help patrol any copied content.
@Jennifer: You go, girl! It surely can't hurt to make their consciences sting a bit! Thanks for leaving your message!
Hi, newbie here! Enjoy reading all the articles! Couldn't help but notice your post....you wouldn't think they would be so blatant about it.
Can't believe someone would actually steal someone else's content and use it as their own. That is just wrong!
