Ummm. Someone sweetly let me know that my name was being used in a post... I don't know what this is about, I don't have time to read it all the way through to understand. I have never lied about what I made. Back in the "glory" days i was making quite a lot of money from Google and Hubpages program - well over 1500 a month just with those and not counting Amazon and eBay.
Of course now I am thrilled when I hit close to $300.00
I hope this helps. I will be happy to answer any questions... or take screen shots of old charts if necessary. And, if I totally misread this in my skimming please chalk it up to writing 30 articles for a client in the past 3 days... have a great weekend.Mary, you were in no way being doubted. I'd love to find one of those myself....I just reached payout for the first time in 2-1/2 years. It made me smile, but I most certainly could have used $1000 a month SEVERAL times in those last 30 months.

Marye, what you earned then and what you earn now is your private business. You shouldn't have to feel obligated to reveal your earnings just because somebody else has got a thorn up their rear end about it.

Marye, I very much doubt that any hubber over two years old would even think to question your success. Anyone from back then is probably well aware of the earnings that were possible.
And for newer hubbers - I've never understood what would be gained by lying about ones earnings here - it's not like they work for Hubpages. And if it were fake, why would Marye admit she's earning only a small percentage of what she used to?
Trolls are people who either know it's true and simply want to pick away at successful writers because THEY can't emulate that success. Or too new to remember Hubpage's golden times of earning.I drilled holes in the floor of the club, and it's sinking.
