I've been getting emails from Hubpages saying So and So is now following me, or they left fan mail or a whatever, yet when I go to check my profile to see the new number of followers, it's at the same number it has been at for the last few days, and it is not recorded in my activities, like it used to.
Has something changed? Is any one else experiencing this?
Hi ThompsonPen! Thanks for reporting this. We're looking into it!
It looks like your current Follower count is accurate. It's possible that the count did not change because when some users Followed you, others Unfollowed you.
Also, as of a few months ago, new Followers stopped appearing in the My Activity section on profiles, but you can use the Feed to see Following activity. Try this URL: http://hubpages.com/feed/followers
Make sure that you have "Followers - of and by you" checked in your Feed settings.
Thank you for looking into it and clearing that up for me!
