When I tried to publish my latest Hub, I got the following message:
Please fix these errors before continuing:
* Please choose a category for your hub.
I already chose a group for my Hub. Is this something else? This has never happened to me before! Please advise, and if this is a glitch, fix it. Thanks.
Robin,
Don't worry there are a few little kinks but they will work them out.
Up at the top of the hub edit screen there is a place for you to choose the category. Simply edit your hub and choose a category, and then you should be able to publish it. We recommend choosing the most specific category you can (the category tool can help with that).
Categories are different than groups. Groups are for your own personal organization, and are there so you can connect hubs in a series together. Categories are an overarching organization for all hubs. As of a couple of days ago, all hubs must have a category.

I just published a hub about the Amityville Horror. I was forced to categorize it under "Halloween" because it is a "haunting" story. I would like to see a category for haunted houses somewhere *else* so that the content is recognized as ever green and categorized as such....
