I want to start a second Hubpages account.  I know it has to be a different type of articles but I have different questions that I can't seem to find answers to.

    1. Can I link it to my second account?
    2. Can I create it under my first account?
    3. Can I use my same earnings codes i.e. google adsense?
    4. Can I use my same email account?

I tried creating an account as a new user and it won't let me using the same email so I am at a loss.
I want them to be linked as the same owner as far as earnings only not as anything promotional.

Obviously you cannot use the same email for a second account, as you've already discovered.

Even if you use the same AdSense codes (which you can do), HubPages will count and track that second account entirely separate from your first in regards to their earrings program, so minimums for making payout, etc. for the two accounts will be entirely on their own.

Doesn't sound very user friendly lol.  But thank you.

How can you do that, with the same address?

I have a second email account.  Is that what you mean?

Debbie, if you mean a physical Adsense address, you use the same Adsense ID for every account.

Having more then 1 Adsense acc is  against the Adsense TOS. I created a second hubpages account with a different email but end up deleting it.
You will have to jump back and forth between 2 analytics accounts, and 2 webmaster accounts.
Google will not show you on search results for the first two months.

You use the same Adsense account.

You can use the same Analytics ID.

I don't bother with webmaster tools.

I have at least 6 accounts. I can get Google traffic within the first 24 hours of creating an account.

You'll have to get links and do some SEO.
Can you do that on blogspot?

I rarely or never backlink anything I do.

Who says you need backlinks to get Google traffic???

And can you do what on Blogspot?

Can you add a sitemap for hubpages, and I can't see links to my site on Webmaster. Why is that?

You can link Hubpages to Webmaster tools by verifying through Google Analytics.

I checked again. Now it shows 68 links, 67 from hubpages and 1 from page2rss.com. What are those links??

I have no idea. As I said, I don't use Webmaster tools on Hubpages, and rarely backlink.

70% of your SEO is in your title, imo.

Just one last question--Did you learn web design by yourself? How?

Figuring it out as I went smile And lots of Googling.

Hosted Wordpress is easy once you get the hang of it.

I had a look at your website WryLit. I noticed SEO design solution left out meta-data in your codes head section that should be used. Good to see your website doesn't have a N/A for PR though.

On another note, you should be using webmaster tools. It's a free service and it's there for a reason.

Some websites will post spam content at your website and attempt a manual spam action from Google.

If you didn't have a webmaster tools account you would never know.

You would never receive visitors until those spam links (Google tells you the exact URL and bad link in webmaster tools) have been removed.

I don't use webmaster tools for Hubpages; I do use it for other sites though.

The website linked from my profile is a place holder; I rank top of Google for my name so don't really have it as more than a basic resume and contact point smile

There's a lot of stuff that shouldn't be there.

Also, according to the generator used, your PHP settings aren't set correctly.

Yeah. Thanks. I don't really have it at the top of the to do file at the moment. It needs better spam protection, upgrade to a cleaner theme, change to W3 total cache and some other stuff. I really don't care as it's not there to make money or impress other than the casual browser.
