Some months ago I was using my sitemap easily. But after posting a new hub my sitemap actually disappeared. I tried
http://jimut.hubpages.com/sitemaps/hub/ … mut.xml.gz
but it is giving a 404 error. Why?
It looks like hubpages is disabling sitemaps for users without at least 10 published hubs.
If you look at your robots.txt file (http://jimut.hubpages.com/robots.txt) you'll see the following.
# Sitemaps (only for users with at least ten published hubs or questions)
# Sitemap: http://jimut.hubpages.com/sitemaps/hub/ … mut.xml.gz
# Sitemap: http://jimut.hubpages.com/sitemaps/ques … mut.xml.gz
The hash tags on those lines indicate that the sitemap is disabled. If you notice it says 10 published hubs OR questions. You could easily write 10 questions to overcome this limitation and get your sitemap back.
