Has anyone else noticed how either just after publishing a hub, or editing it later on, things move around? My textboxes aligned right change colour, my capsules get jumbled around, and I have to put everything right again.

It might be the browser, I thought, since I use Opera. The only thing is that Firefox is too unstable, and when building hubs, it will bomb out to the desktop and I'm left with having to reopen it and do everything over.

I suppose one has to choose the lesser of two evils. Maybe I should finally try Internet Explorer or Chrome, if it is the browser. It's always the browser.

The very first question of the FAQ deals with what browsers work best with HubPages and Opera is not one of them.

Yes, I had Opera when I started with HubPages and switched to Firefox because I had too many problems.

Firefox did "bomb out" a few times when I started using it, but recently I've had no problems - maybe this upgrade is better?

I've actually noticed the same thing the past couple days and I'm using FireFox. I go to save or publish, scroll down and realize that wait, I did not put that there. Easy to go back in and fix just gotta remind yourself to double check everything is where you want it to be once published.

I use Firefox, and it's not crashed on me yet <touch wood>. Nor do my hubs rearrange themselves.

Perhaps you could try Flock? It is based on Firefox but has a restore facility and logs on to your social pages for you on startup.
I have had about the same amount of hassle with all browsers over the last fifteen years or so, and they all have quirks in my view. Good luck with it.

Although....I responded to earlier statements about display issues that is was on the user side - today, i went to 9 of my normal websites -only HUBPAGES was giving me display problems - even as i speak...their are no avatar images in the forum...and the whole page was displaying without the CSS properties being called up

Hubs is either making some code changes -or they have a some sort of server problem

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'll probably just grin and bear it though. I like Opera and I'm used to it.
