Hi all - For the 2nd time I have been approached by a potential advertiser wanting to place an ad on one of my hubs. I know I can't accept that, but how SHALL I handle it? Do we have a procedure?
If they are wanting to put an actual ad, as opposed to a backlink, on the hub, I have in the past pointed them to HP.
Backlinks I politely decline to provide.
wilderness's suggestion is a good one. You can let advertisers know that they are welcome to advertise with HubPages through our official channels, but that advertising in individual Hubs is against both HubPages and AdSense policies.
I also unofficially recommend being a little bit flattered that they consider your Hubs prime advertising real estate.
