OK, from a miserable cynic - thank you to those who voted for me, especially for the Pooh story which means a lot.

Oh yeah, and congrats to eveyrone else, and it's not just the winning, this is a win for all hubbers, and er.. that's it.

      Oh... well done Beth!!!!

Well deserved on that one - it was truly a beautiful hub it made me tear up when I read it probably a month ago and I still remember it - that says a lot for a hub smile.

Your hubs are all so great, Mark!  I was glad to see you recognized - twice, I think!

I guess Im not much of a queen... I hadn't even noticed this thread yet. Like most queens, I was a little self absorbed, hitting the "your" button, taking me directly to the threads I usually comment on. I was very touched to see your name on there twice Mark. I hope this will restore your faith, ever so slightly in HP's as it is clear that the hubbers all love you. smile

I should probably thank everyone though Im not sure what my duties are yet. I believe I am supposed to have a platform... thingy... like... diabetes or literacy... alcoholism, which I have supported in my own way over the years. Ill have to get back to everyone when I figure something out. smile

Ah that's nice Beth.  I do feel slightly humbled by it. Anyway... I'm still around and when I have something in mind... I'll write it. Or maybe just do some clowning. smile

Hey, I was stunned, myself, Paradigm!  I'm not sure what prompted the nominations, but if I've helped others in any way, I'm honored to be recognized. Still in shock.

Congrats on your award - very deserved, Oh King of Our Forum!

I have to say, it was a tight race this year.  There really are a LOT of great Hubs and Hubbers.  @Mark - I LOVED that Hub.  It seriously made me cry!  @Christin, definitely well deserved.  Extremely useful Hub! @Heather - you rock! @Paradigm, I have a feeling you will be here 12 months and beyond!  wink  Oh, and Marcy is super helpful.  She emails Hubbers frequently and was nominated by quite a few Hubbers for the award.  wink  Thanks to everyone that voted.  smile

Most Likely To Become A HubPages Employee....hmmm, I can't tell if that's a compliment, or an insult.  (The staff love-hate pendulum swings mighty fast these days)

At least it should clear things up for those few who believed I am an employee that I'm not...yet...

That's actually where most of my past job experience lies.  But you never get hate via email like you get answering the c.s. phones at a personals site that is actually running a rip-off scam.

I'd actually be really good at killing weekend spam, except for the few times per year I'm off camping in Internet-free wilderness.

LOLOL. I did retail, that was bad enough. Phones? No thanks! You can't even give them innocent eyes.

On the phone you can make any face or reaction you want, as long as your voice stays professional.  I'm a master of eyeball-snark.

Heather Says writes hubs worth searching, reading, pinning, sharing.  A well-deserved win!  She writes what she knows and loves, and knows how to write in an engaging style and she takes fantastic photos.
That's a recipe for success. Congrats, Heather!

I sent your breaking bad recipe to my friends who are CRAZY for that show. They thought it was awesome! They were so excited.

I have to say, I was very excited to see Billy's name on there. He doesn't just write amazing hubs along with being active on the forum... he truly cares about ppl and helping them by sharing his stories and encouragement. He's a good guy.

Rumor has it there may be an HP T-shirt in my future. I might have to change my avatar; but don't count on it. Half the time I am whisker endowed; half the time I am not. Decisions... Decisions...

HP should put some sort of badge on our avatars. Then I really would have to behave myself.
