My hub traffic is pretty good for a Thanksgiving week Tuesday-Wednesday. So is the whole site for that matter. https://www.quantcast.com/labs/real-tim … bpages.com I wonder what the Monday spike was about; another Amazon crawl fest? https://www.quantcast.com/hubpages.com?country=US

I have one hub that is doing the work for all the others. It's my "Why do men lust?" thread. I don't know if it's any good... I think just b/c the word "lust" is in the title. It's my WTF, Im going to start putting that word in the title of all my threads. "Ode to my lusty mother." "How to have a lust-filled Thanksgiving." Stuff like that.

You have me slightly worried with that spike. It might be what Mark calls 'a bend over' spike.

I have a hub about beavers. If I were to stick the word, "lustful", in that...

I just had a very interesting shopping experience. I posted about it on that infamous other site. I should have posted my tire-adventure there. It literally cost me a dollar by my posting it here instead.

Btw, I don't remember. Do you do that other site?

I did, but I closed my account... at least I deleted my stuff and pic. I requested that they close it, I don't know if they ever did though.

I felt disconnected. I didn't really get what I was supposed to do. I posted on a few ppl's threads, but when I'd sign off and then come back later, Id have over a hundred notifications... I was like, "Am I supposed to follow each of those?" And then there was some problem where I was loading some poems and they wouldn't download... it was weird. I never saw a forum, but I don't really like starting over. I feel comfortable, for the most part, here. There's a few haters, but they're every where.

                Beth, Beth, Beth...

Think of it as a blogging site. Talk about whatever you want.

As to the notifications, ignore or respond to each one as you see fit.

I think you would be a natural there over time.

And that is the secret. Time. Just muddle around there doing whatever you want. Everything will eventually fall into place.

You and Mark are always talking about posting stuff somewhere... and making a dollar off of it. Did you just mean on your own pages? Im not really in it for the money, though if someone were handing it out for what I was already doing, I wouldn't say no.

Taking a walk with a neighbor. That'll probably perk me up. Got so many chores to do, it's overwhelming. Life is an iterative process...

It's true. The minute I finish laundry and dishes for 4, it's time to do it again. I used to have 6 at home... talk about overwhelmed.

So a walk with the neighbor huh? That's a good idea. You don't sound like a real recluse. I hate walking in the day... I don't like seeing ppl. Having to nod or smile at them. How weird is that? Plus the sun hurts my eyes. I walk at night, even as late as 2 am. Not very smart I spose, but I prefer it.

Beth37posted 10 years agoin reply to this

That makes sense. Im reading a book about the differences in the way men and women communicate. Mens moods are actually affected according to how their teams play b/c men are naturally competitive and live vicariously through the performance of their teams. So how you feel about yourself might be affected by the success rate of your hubs. If I told you that your worth has nothing to do with how those hubs are doing on a day to day basis, it would mean very little to you wouldn't it?
