Affiliate programs that aren't part of Hubpages' set?

Hey, all! Brand-spankin' newbie here -- howdy from southern Colorado!

I apologize in advance if this has already been covered in the FAQs or another discussion; I skimmed both and didn't see anything, but that could have been my aging eyes :-p

I have a couple of affiliate accounts with dog bike leash companies, and wondered if I could use them in my Hubs? If not, not a problem -- just need to know.

Thanks everybody, and I look forward to getting to know y'all!

You can use affiliate links under the same terms as any other link (no more than 2, etc).  The exception being clickbank or other sites we are not allowed to link to.

Be sure to NoFollow the links to the affiliates.  That's a requirement of Google Webmaster Guidelines.

Since you seem to know more about this than many ( specially me) I would like to know if links to some of my eBooks (Booktango, Smashwords etc...) are OK to include in a Hub.

Thanks in advance for your kind reply.
