The good part is on Mondays they shoot right back up. I think a lot of people are looking at my hubs at work!
How about this - all my views tank on the weekdays. Weekends are when my audience goes searching...
My experience is just the opposite. I get the most views on weekends and then it starts tapering off on Mondays. Thursday and Friday get the fewest views. I think in my case it's because i write about a hobby (gardening) that most people pursue on a weekend and then maybe research any problems they ran into over the weekend in the beginning of the week.
I used to have traffic that tanked on the weekends too. I decided to even it out by writing hubs that people would be searching for on the weekends - travel, entertainment, hobbies, etc. It worked for me - traffic is more even now.
I'm not sure I would recommend that strategy to other Hubbers though - some people say it is better to focus on a particular niche instead of writing in many different niches.
Could be. I know my traffic drops on the weekends a bit usually and is high throughout the week. I suspect a lot of Pinterest going on in a lot of workplaces.
I never looked forward to Mondays before now I do.
I checked Quantcast and found that traffic normally takes a dip around weekends and recovers on Monday. I guess it's normal.

Hey, guys.My own site's still got a lot of work before it goes live, but I'm trying to figure out a few things. I'm considering the idea of adding new content daily, but only on weekdays. So far, I only have my HP views as a guide, but I'm wondering how indicative they are of web traffic...

Mine was the worst in many months for this Saturday.

Just a reminder - traffic often drops over this weekend. So if you see a big plummet, it's just all the people going away from their computer and into the real world

Is it me, or do views/does viewership significantly drop during weekends? Or is it just a normal thing in HP/Maven? Thanks in advance for the answers.

Mine almost always is. Once in a while, I'll have a $20 or $25 Saturday or Sunday, but otherwise, my weekend traffic and earnings are lower than they are during the week. How about you?

Hi, I know that traffic over the weekend drops, mine currently drops somewhere between 20-35%, just wanted to see how other hubbers fared. Also wondering if anybody has any tips to increasing weekend traffic with regards to topics, or anything else they can think of.Thanks in advance.
