I often use Google's copyright infringement form to request they take down a `blogspot' blog that has copied one of my articles. It usually takes about a week for Google to take down the blog, but in one recent case it's been almost 3 weeks and the thing is still there. When do you think I should send another request?
It is possible the blogger contested it and convinced them. I have seen it take a few attempts when the blogger fights back.
Sometimes it takes them a while. Blogspot/Blogger are still managed by the team who created the sites before Google bought them out. They have their own way of doing things.
Sometimes I've even received emails after a DMCA asking for more information.
Eventually, though, I've always had plagiarized content removed. So, all is good eventually.
If you think too much time has passed, file another DMCA.
