I asked this in the Squidoo forum and was told to ask here. I put my own watermarks on any of my own photos that I put in my articles on the web. All my Squidoo hubs have my own watermarked photos in them. The watermarks are not prominent and not always easy to see, except for me. But, I was told that this was not allowed.
Will my hubs be marked down as violations or have their photos removed? I have hundreds of my own photos to replace and it might take as long as a year to do so because I have to track down my originals. I only watermark my own photos with my own watermark,
I'm very uncomfortable posting photos online without a visible watermark.
I actually also started this question in the Squidoo forum where it has gotten more discussion and debate.
