Getting Concerned if I Did it Correctly

I have noticed that lenses are being transferred, but we've been told they are moving in order.  I'm not sure if I did things correctly in giving permission for mine to move.  I followed the prompt on our dashboards and the account was opened. Is there a way I can tell if my articles are being considered for HP?  Nothing has shown up in my email.

There are others that I know signed up after I did and their account has already been moved.  I just don't want to lose my work.  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks

This has been already answered by HP somewhere. They don't upload them in a particular order. You're not the only one who's still waiting. Mine haven't been transferred either.

We've since found out that it isn't strictly on a "first come, first served" basis. Paul Edmondson, owner of HP, has said that it is actually a random thing. Don't get worried, I'm sitting on 353 lenses that haven't been transferred yet, and I'm anxious, but I'm sure they'll get them all eventually. If they tried to transfer all of them at once, no doubt it would overload the site.

Thanks everyone, but my concern is if I had to do anything else and missed it.

Sorry if my question wasn't clear. I know they are working hard to get things transferred, but did I need to do anything else after I hit the green tab and signed up for the new account?

No, that was all you had to do, nothing else. We just have to wait now and that's not an easy job smile

If you hit the green button again, it should tell you that you've already kicked off the process.

I clicked it again and it said that I my account was there. Thanks Paul, didn't think to do that.

The transfer is still in process.  I had two accounts to transfer over.  I clicked big green on both of them, a few days apart.  I got email that the first one had been moved last Tuesday night, and there it was!

There has not yet been a moving email on my second account, but as admin is fixing a ton of content/import tech issues, I totally do not mind having the other one come over more smoothly later  with less bugs.

Evidently, they are working around the clock.  Mine just got here last night around midnight thirty.  No kidding, about 150 articles.  They are coming guys and gals.  Hang in there and be prepared to edit when they arrive.

I was also concerned yesterday that I had done something wrong, because so many others were posting about their lenses arriving. I'm sure I clicked that button at Squidoo within hours of the announcement being posted!

Mine showed up this morning, so don't fret.

Just received an email from HP informing that my hubs have been imported...... the wait is over !  :-)

Off to check them now, and see just what needs to be fixed, or even deleted!   Lots of work to do I expect.

        Hi Nancy,
So far, only 4 of my 76 have violation notices, and they seem as if
they will be easy to fix.
Shall only be working on one at a time though, so I keep the 4 months
        grace period on the others.

Hope your lenses come over soon!

Thanks Deb.    Haven't seen more than a couple yet, but those I've
        seen are looking ok.

Cheryl I was just on one of your recipe lenses/hubs and it seems to be OK.  Hoping the rest are as well.

That would be nice. I know they're doing their best to put our minds at rest over this.

We should have all the people that associated an account with HubPages moved over this week, although we are still getting people everyday associating.  If you haven't moved by Monday and we haven't hit any unexpected technical difficulties (we will let people know if we do), I'd post again.

Music to my ears. I appreciate your keeping us posted and your patience with our questions.  It's like waiting to give birth ... something painful but yet a joy in the making.
