A few important announcements - we're almost done!

   Hi everyone! I have a few important announcements today:
   
   1. The last day to opt in to the content transfer will be this Wednesday (9/24/2014) at noon.
   2. If you have already opted in and your content still hasn't been transferred, please try resetting your password first. It is possible that your content was imported into a new account and you did not receive the email. If that is not the case, then please contact us ASAP.
   3. All major bug fixes and reimports are done. The best course of action from here on out is to manually fix any remaining formatting issues with your Hubs, but please continue to report any major problems here.
   4. The Squidoo Transition Forum open for another month or so; feel free to continue to use it!

      Could you explain how the redirects work and how long those will be in place please.

         In one of other threads Mr. Edmondson explained redirects should stay forever. Every backlink earned to your lens should count as a link to your hub if you didn't change the url of transferred hub. All former internal links (Squidoo lens to Squidoo lens) are supposed to change to hub to hub links in one of later updates (I think Ms Lazarevic wrote that, but I am not 100 percent sure, maybe it was one of other stuff members) this year.
         
         It is up to you, if you change links which are under your control (from you blogs, for instance), but I will do that only VERY slowly, because although a redirect is not a perfect solution, the age of the link plays important part in the algo too. Google officially admitted that several times and they actually put even more weight on the age of links in first half of this year.

      Is the disappearance of images a new bug? As of earlier today(September 28), Hubs that were transferred from Squidoo are missing virtually all images while my other HubPages account still has images. Images have disappeared from every single Hub transferred from Squidoo. Perhaps Seth Godin didn't get paid extra for images and is taking them all back?

         I had problems with photos over the weekend, but most seem to be back now, at least on my hubs. I hope they are on everyone else's!

   I only had 10 left to transfer but I am up to 15 total hubs with an average score of 78.
   
   I'm finding HP easy to use and since my lenses were not all that complicated, easy to adjust to be HP friendly.
