I submitted the complaint about the copied content of my hub on a blog to, firstname.lastname@example.org on Fri, Sep 19, 2014 at 4:27 AM and received the following message,
We have received your legal request. Google will only email you about this notice if we need additional clarification. If we comply with your notice in full and do not receive a counter notice, you will not receive any further emails about it from Google.
But the content is still there on the hub. How long it takes for Google to act.
If the content was on blogger/blogspot, it can take a week.
Thanks Writer Fox for the comment.
In my query the last line meant, "But the content is still there on the blog".
Thanks again, you are the light house of Hub-pages to guide the strayed and fumbling writers like us.
Thank you, Sanjay. It doesn't hurt to make the request again to have the content removed. This is the best form to use:
Go to this link and check the first item on the list: Blogger/Blogspot
https://support.google.com/legal/troubl … 14905?rd=2
Then, choose this: I have a legal issue that is not mentioned above.
Then, choose this: I have found content which may violate my copyright.
Then, choose this: Yes, I am the copyright owner.
Then, finish the form.
