I am new to Hubpages but I have a great Following on my Bubblews page. I want to know if i post links of my featured hubs on my Bubblews articles, would it result in violations?
I believe bubblews frowns on links to other sites, except for youtube. They might let it slide, but why chance it.
Yes you can add the link with prescribed 400 characters.
have you tried it too? i guess it results in violation of TOS
I have tried it. It is not a violation.
I've done the same and posted a link. The rules state(d) you may use a link to ENHANCE the
satisfaction of the reader but you may NOT use a link just to enhance your
own traffic to that link/blog.
If you're writing about fishing and have several RELEVANT fishing articles,
have at it. But if you simply say, "You might also like this article: How to eat
Neatly without Using a Napkin," I wouldn't.
Don't post more than one link per bubble, though.
I don't write there anymore due to their payment issues but you can sure
write a post about it for feedback. Maybe weave your question into a bubble
about posting ethics and 'how much is too much' as far as spam.
I don't think you should be so confident. Bubblews is inconsistent, a lot depends on which member of their team looks at your Bubbles. As you can see from this thread, other Hubbers have lost their payouts because of HubPages links. It's not worth the risk.
Not sure but I guess that would not be worth it. It probably won't convert well to visits anyway. And it's also a risk.
I would not do it. I lost two accounts there after I did it. So beware.
I look at it this way. What would I want people to do if I owned BL?
Would I want readers going to other sites with ads and affiliate links or staying on my site reading ads that fund my business?
How about from the writer's side (yes, I write there)?
Would I want readers going to other sites with ads and affiliate links or staying on my site reading ads that fund my business?
Any link that detracts from keeping eyeballs on the site should be avoided if you want the site to be successful long term (yes, I think it can).

Whether I agree with HP's new policies or not, I respect the site's right to set their own rules. However, I think one of the reasons Hubbers are getting upset isthey're getting warnings based on rules they don't know existExamples:1. I have "overly promotional" warnings on several...

Some mystery spammer keeps posting bubblews links on my account. It keeps saying it is a user with a different name, but I cannot even click on the person's name or see their profile. Although it is annoying, this is more of a warnign to others than anything. Watch out for spam comments on your...

I have a personal blog, and I was wondering if it's a good idea to write a post where I add reference links to my hubpages articles? Is it a good SEO practice or a bad idea? thanks

Someone recently stated that there are limits to how much you can link to your own hubs. Does anybody know the limitations?

I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub which may be very relevant to the specific content in a section of a hub, if it...
