Are some hub topics higher rated than others? If so what topics? Also how are hub scores calculated and rated/scored?
HubPages tries to treat all hubs equally or at least fairly, so any hub should have an equal chance to get a high (or low) score. That doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about the topic though. Some topics have higher CPMs, more interest, and more traffic.
Hub Scores are based on a complicated algorithm which isn't itemised. HubScore tells you nothing about how successful a Hub will be or how much money it will earn, so it's best to stop worrying about it.
If you're really worried about HubScore, the best thing to do is to try to tick as many boxes as possible in the Stellar Hubs section (at the top right hand of a Hub in edit mode).

I have been on HP for a while, but why do some hubs lose score, but increase in traffic at the same time?It is kind of ironic. Some hubs go to 90-100 with lower traffic, but then they go to 85ish with higher traffic.

I received an email that a new Hub is "eligible" for a niche site. But it suggests I need to proofread it before it can move over. I edited the article for readability and ran it through a spelling and grammar...

My hub that seems most popular with over 52,000 reads is at the bottom of my hubs with a 69 and it has been 70's so I sharpened it up some just to have it fall. How can this be? I hate to delete it but I think that is...
