Using other sites to drive traffic to your hubs can work wonders, social bookmark sites such as http://www.markfreebookmark.com allow HubPage links and act as follow links for people to come directly to your hub and increase traffic!
Also adding your content on http://www.markfrearticles.com and linking it to HubPages is another great strategy - give them a try and let me know what you think!
