Hi. I'm new here and I was wondering how long it takes before a Hub starts to receive substantial traffic from sources like Google or other search engines.
It depends upon the subject matter and how competitive a specific search phrase might be for a Hub.
Some get traffic right away, others never see much, if any. There is no "one size fits all" answer for your question. I have noticed, though, that people who market their work well do better than those who don't...but you have to know how to do that, which I, personally, do not!
Thanks for the help. I am assuming that patience is pretty important also.
You need to learn about keywords and search engine optimization techniques.

There have been several theories about what content Google is penalising and rewarding in the search results but at the moment it does seem a bit random (from my end). Let's compare notes and hopefully we can see some...
