So, I haven't been very active on my account lately and suddenly yesterday I had 14 comments (all from anonymous people) on my hubs. Today, I have had 5 random comments. They are all pretty generic comments that don't pertain to the article itself, just comments like - "Wow! Great article!", "You're an amazing writer!", "I should take notes!" Most of them are misspelled as well.
Would you accept these comments or ignore them? My gut reaction was to ignore them, but I've also been known to over-react.
If you don't feel the comment is on topic and it doesn't add value for your readers, it's usually a good idea to delete that comment.
Also, if the comment doesn't make any sense or is a SPAM comment, please mark it as such.
This helps us identify future SPAM comments and stop some of them going forward. So mark them as SPAM if they are and it helps other Hubbers.
