I would like to create a banner of sorts to go across the top of my hubs. How wide is the hub text area?

The only way to make a banner is with an image capsule, and the full-width images render to 520 pixels wide on a finished hub, regardless of what width you upload.

Thanks! That's what I needed to know. I want it to be height/width proportional, so knowing the width makes that possible. smile

You can still upload an image wider than 520 px and the system will automatically resize it and the height will be proportional.

Thanks! I'm creating it myself, so best to just do it the right size up front. smile

If I'm not being lazy, I make the image width in a multiple of 520, like 1040 or 1560, so that it scales down nicely.
