A am being asked to copy words that are not present on the page in order to begin a new hub. Must be doing something wrong?

You should see a CAPTCHA image on that page.
In some cases ad-blocking or other software interferes with these images.
I would suggest disabling any extensions, ad-blocking, or other software that may interfere with website content.
Clear your browser cache and cookies, check for a browser upgrade, and restart your computer.

Thanks for the direction. Did not work in Google Chrome, but was able to open a Hub in Firefox, so I will need to find out why Chrome did not work.

Is this browser related? I saw them 2 days ago. I'm using FF 16.0.2. I know a more recent version has just been released, but I haven't updated. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I've never had this problem before and have always used Chrome. I try to upload a photo or other image from my saved files and the Hubpages uploader can't do it. This is driving me nuts! Anyone got any answers? Please??...
