    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my Hub Recipe for Lamb Rib Soup. What can I do to improve? Thanks!

Looks like a good recipe. Find a friend who is fluent in English to help you correct the grammar mistakes.

The recipe looks good, and the pictures are appealing.

As others mentioned here, have someone check your English and punctuation. Commas, periods and parenthesis need a space afterward.

Also - did you use the Recipe Capsule?  I am not sure what the QAP flagged here, but perhaps it is not long enough as a 'regular' hub. Recipe hubs can have fewer words (although you do need some text in addition to the actual recipe).

Good luck - I hope you find whatever the problem might be and that it's easy to correct!

I agree with the first response; incorrect, broken English is this article's main problem. Running it through a spell/grammar checker can help somewhat, but it would be best to also have it reviewed by someone who is fluent in English.

Once you have that fixed, read over it carefully and put a space after every period and comma. I don't see spaces after the any of the periods, and only a few after commas.

I'm agreeing with the other readers. The recipe is a good one. It has everything that a cook needs to make the dish. The first section is not grammatically correct. I also noticed the lack of spaces between end punctuation. Also, there is a lack of voice (I sometimes call it "sparkle" with my students). Why do you like this recipe? Is it a family recipe? Do you make it often? Who might enjoy this recipe? Is it easy to make? Is it for busy weeknights or more of a weekend meal?

I hope I've helped you with your revisions.

    Melissa
