I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I'm new to HubPages and I want to make sure I do things correctly. If I am writing an article but I don't have all the information that I need, how is it that I make sure I cite sources where I look up information and how do I make sure I avoid plagarism?
Also, are there any websites that I cannot cite? Is everything on the internet fair game as long as I only use it as a source of information, not as my copy text itself, and as long as I cite it?
I just want to make sure I do this the right way. Thank you for your help.
I would suggest reading over the site policies related to the prohibition of duplicate content and make sure your Hub is predominantly original as even if it is cited, a Hub can be duplicate.

How do I cite my sources for hubs I research?I would love to write some hubs that would require me to do a little bit of research. How do I go about citing my sources? In college I always used MLA style in-text citations and a works cited page. That doesn't seem like it would work...
