Here's a quick way to count your Editor's Choice hubs: Click on "my account". This opens the statistics page showing all your hubs. Search (ctrl-f) for "editor's choice" (without the quotes) and your browser will show the count. It beats scrolling through all your hubs and manually counting them-- especially if you have a lot of hubs. At first I did the manual count because I thought the Editor's Choice was an image. Of course, if you have hubs whose title contains "Editor's Choice", you'll have to subtract that from the count.

I opened my Hp site today and was surprised to have 10 "Editor's choice" selected for my hubs. I wonder how many did you get. No hidden agenda; just curious.
