I'm interested in whether HubPages intends to be compliant with the new Google AdSense Policy re 100% compliance with the EU Directive on privacy and cookie choice
This is the letter to publishers
BELOW are some links to articles relevant to ALL publishers - including HubPages - who use Google AdSense to monetize websites
* Search Engine Round Table - Google AdSense Publishers Need To Support EU Cookie Law (28 July 2015)
* Techcrunch - Google AdSense Publishers Must Now Obtain EU Visitors’ Consent Before Collecting Data (27 July 2015) http://techcrunch.com/2015/07/27/google … ting-data/
* MarketingLand - Nearly Every Google AdSense Publisher Must Comply With EU Cookie Consent, Not Just Those Based In The EU (28 July 2015) http://marketingland.com/nearly-every-g … -eu-136777
Plus this is what it currently says on my Google Blogger Dashboard
Note - my blog has now acquired a courtesy banner re cookie consent which has been placed there automatically by Google. You can only see it if you use an EU country suffix (eg try changing blogspot.com to blogspot.co.uk and see if you can see it)
BOTTOM LINE - What is HubPages doing to make sure it complies with Google AdSense Policy by 30th September?
I expect it to be no big deal. Other sites have already easily complied. Won't be a problem for HP either.
