How does HubPages look like?

Has anyone personally been inside the HubPages building (apartment), and met the staff? Maybe the members from San Francisco could help us out on this. Have you really been there?

I am personally interested to open (launch) a website for visual artists where they might be able to sell their work online, bypassing the need to hire a gallery (which presses considerably upon their wallets). I'm interested all about the making of websites and how the office really looks like behind the scenes!

Don't bother. A former HP Staffer has beat you to it, years ago as a matter of fact.

As for pictures of the HubPages offices, some fun could be had there... big_smile

I don't know what you mean by "apartment" but HubPages is a few rooms on one floor in a small industrial/office building in San Francisco.  No cube walls, it's done with that open-office design thing.  Sometimes people bring their dogs to work.  There were only nine people working there when I visited, so it's probably more densely laid out by now, as they've added in moderators and editorial staff.  Also, no women were employed yet when I was there.

      Hi God shet,

I dug up these photos from earlier this year with some of the HP Team disassembling servers in the office. smile

if you don't mind me asking: who drew that "78 Million Uniques (top Goal)" logo on the board?

I'm not positive, but I believe it was our old designer, James, who is also Paul Edmondson's brother. smile

One of the most important lessons a person can learn in life is that there exists something behind the retina.

Thank you, Christy Kirwan. The photos reminded me rapidly of 'The Adventures of Tintin'. Don't know why!  smile
