Why aren't there any ads on any of my hubs?

I checked one of your hubs and there were ads on it.  Are you using an ad blocker?

Yes, I see ads on your hubs too.

I haven't installed or activated an ad blocker. I used Firefox, Chrome, and even IE. I also must note that there are no ads on anyone's hubs as far as I can see.

It seems unlikely, but could this be a virus?

I noticed occasionally when I first post my Hubs, they don't initially advertise the first day, but usually by day two or three I see it posted.

I fell for it and looked. Yep, you got ads.

Maybe Michigan is perturbed with HubPages?

Come to think of it, can you see ads on other websites?

It's just HubPages and it's all hubs, not just mine. Unfortunately, I can't change the thread title but I added a bit about it being all hubs, not just mine.

My mention of Michigan was whimsical, but what about your ISP?

That has to be it. Suite Solutions is the name of the ISP that has a monopoly on internet service in my complex and they aren't the best. I'm just relieved that it's only here.

I was pleased by my views this morning and it'd be a bummer to finally get some decent views only to find they earned nothing because the ads were down.

            You have my sympathy, http://www.yelp.com/biz/suite-solutions … ogy-toledo

If you have a landline phone, you might be able to break that monopoly with DSL.

Fortunately, their contract with the complex is up this fall and we'll get to switch to AT&T. We've had so many problems with them it's ridiculous. They even once shut off our service because they didn't run the automatic payment through before it was due!

I checked with a friend inside the same complex last night and she is also unable to see ads on HubPages. I surfed online last night trying to see if other sites' ads were blocked but really couldn't tell if they were or not, although the ads did seem a bit sparse on some sites.
