Hello Hubbers,
What's the necessity of niche related hub profile? Does it receive more traffic than a hub page with generic name? For example, If I name a profile "blenderhelp" and the other is my name "mjkamrul" then is there any possibility to get more traffic on "blenderhelp" related URL? I'm not sure If I've been able to clear my topic to all. Thanks
It doesn't really matter what the user name is. I have another account that gets a lot of traffic and the user name is a name I made up, not related to subject matter on the profile. Other hubbers use made up names or their own names for their profiles and they get good traffic even though the names are not related to subject matter. The more important thing is the titles of Hubs. The titles determine whether those hubs will get traffic.
If that is the reason you want to change your hubber name, it will not do any good at all. With recent changes your hubs are going to appear as hubpages.com in the search engines anyway--your hubber nick will not even be showing up.
I think you are confusing the importance of a domain name with the importance of an account name.
When you have a blog or website, it's important to choose a domain name that reflects what your site is about, not just your name, because it appears in the URL of each page. However on HubPages, your username is not part of the URL, so it's irrelevant.

I've been updating and removing hubs. I haven't settled on a plan for good hubs that don't get traffic. Curious what others do. My top 40 hubs are 85% of traffic. I culled the heard and have been focused on my best hubs.Once I'm through them I'll come up with a plan for the rest.

I've just noticed something which concerns me a bit and wondered if it is something new or not. The related hubs, listed on my highest trafficked hub in my best niche, only have one hub which fits the description out of six examples. The other five--though distantly related--would...

I saw a big improvement in the payout I made today, because of the hubs that were moved to niche sites. But when I check the stats of those hubs, what I see is different. They get a big spike in views the first day or two after they are moved, then the stats sort of flatline. Is this happening to...

I have had a few hubs moved to various niche sites with hub scores ranging from 69 to 87. I feel I have much better hubs remaining on the original site than some of those selected to move, especially my latest which was a very basic poem (though it did meet the guidelines.) Is there any correlation...
