On HubPages earning program page, status of Google AdSense is shown as, "active" and affiliate code is also displayed but no earning is seen on hosted account.
Google sent me email and asked, "you have successfully created your first ad unit but you have not placed your Google AdSense ad code on your hubpages site. This step is necessary for the full activation of your account".
I copied the code from Google AdSense page but I do not know where to paste it.
Please guide me what is meant by hosted account?
You don't. Hubpages takes care of it. You can't place your own ads. As long as you have activated your Adsense account on your HP settings, you'll be ok.
