I've got two editbots that won't go away, even though the errors are zero.

I already gave up awhile ago and have made them pets.

I am now looking to give them names.

I thought of Sherlock and Watson, but I think there is better.

    Any ideas?

Arthur and Modred. They killed each other in the Arthurian legends.

This thread is becoming educational. I had to look them up and I learned something new.

Jay and Silent Bob? Silent Bob almost always has something wise to impart but Jay just hangs around smoking weed, shooting off his mouth, and annoying your customers.

These two sound like excellent Hubber candidates. I've fired off referral links to both.

Ren and Stimpy because stubborn editbots are as outrageous as they are. Don't you think?

I'd always known the second definition, but I'd never heard of the first until now. lol

      din·gle·ber·ry
      ˈdiNGəlˌberē/
      noun vulgar slang
      plural noun: dingleberries

          1. A particle of fecal matter attached to the anal hair of an animal.
          2. US informal. A foolish or inept person.

Solaras already wrote a hub on this:

It is about cute cartoon dog names that work for editbots that refuse to go away.
I cant believe you missed this one, PDS!

You do know he has had at least a half-dozen previously banned reincarnations? Don't worry. No doubt he will soon be back.

He usually waits a while between reincarnations, give it a week or two and your old friend will be back. All will be well again.  (And again, and again, and again, and again.)

Why do I still feel like we need a funeral?
Was everyone against him because (they thought) he was out there or because they knew he didn't really exist?  Why in my subconscious do I feel he was real.
                    Am I totally nuts?

Dingbat (Definition 1) would go well with Dingleberrie. (Definition 2)
If Dingbat is pregnant, bot-baby would be either dinglebat or dingberrie. Not sure which.
    BTW I'm fine now.

I tested the suspected pregnant one. Sure enough, a "+" sign (Is that right? I really have no idea.).

Meanwhile, has anyone actually seen any new editbots around here lately? I sure haven't.

Been busily perusing the other names posted here. No decisions yet.
