I need to submit a DMCA for my hub that was stolen. I tried sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, and it immediately bounced back to me undelivered because there is "no MX or A records for linkedgems.com." Should I just move on to the next step of contacting google?
When I was looking for the site, it was linkedgem.com without the "s". Maybe that's the problem.
If it's a site that is obviously stealing, then don't waste time trying to contact them, because they will ignore you. Go straight to their hosting company, who will take the site off-air if they find your complaint is justified.
In this case, the host is Edgeserv. If you click the "abuse" link on their website, you get asked to submit a ticket:
