I have to agree with you Donna, I think it might inspire people to do more writing on the site. Getting to the 200,000 mark has been my personal goal for what seems ages. Thank you for all the support you have given me over the past three years. Sally.
My hubs can take me several days to write. I usually work on an idea long before I touch the keyboard. Once I have figured it out in my mind I go through the creative process and take the photographs. The editing process can take a while and also the selection of the photographs but that is the hard part done, only then can I settle down and write the hub. I am always motivated to do what I do because I love what I am doing and quite honestly I don't think I will ever be short of ideas. I maintain my own website, Zazzle and Etsy stores so I don't really have the time to write on any other content platforms. My advice is to listen to write about what you love doing and do it to the best of your ability. Views will come if you write about things you have knowledge about and which solve a problem for the reader.
I just reached 100,000 views on 35 Hubs. (I only had 2 beginning in May of this year.) So, you can get great traffic from Google on HubPages! I'm happy about the traffic, but I wish the CPM were higher.
