Bring back groups for hubs.It makes it much easier to find a particular hub. Hub Pages might not use it,but as a hubber, I really need it to quickly find a particular hub. I can't always remember the exact title.
If you use the Chrome browser, you can go to the menu in the upper right hand corner, open it, then click on "find". Then type in a keyword from the title of a hub you are looking for. I started using this when groups disappeared and it has helped me tremendously. I miss them, too, believe me!
Maybe use the filter to select a topic? It would probably help you out.
In addition to filtering the topic as lobobrandon mentioned, I also like to go to the topic tab and then sort by topic. You might find that either method works for you.
