"Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion"

    L. Ron Hubbard, Founder of Scientology, 1940, quoted in <snip>Removed Link</snip>

So hubpagers let's create together a Religion and we're going to be all wealthy smile

As for me I'm probably even under a penny a word sad but that doesn't prevent me to continue smile

I wonder if that quote is mentioned on any of the official Scientology sites?

I guess no big_smile. I took it from the Reader's Digest article (I put the link but it was retrieved).

Well, Oscar Wilde claimed to have spent all morning inserting a comma and all afternoon taking it out again. I'll bet there's hardly a living poet approaching a penny a word!

I guess you just gotta keep going on. If words come easy to you... Then a penny for a word isn't bad at all.

    Now about this religion...
