Hi everbody,
I'm at Hubpages since 2 years now and reached my first accolade for a certain number of simultaneous hubs and over 10,000 reads very soon. Since then I of course got read more often, but nobody gives you an accolade for 20,000, 30,000, 40,000 and 50,000. So, why then for the first 10,000????
I don't get the rules, the system - if there is any system behind this. I mean it's helpful to get these accolades and I'm grateful for them, but also think they would be more helpful if they would get updated, don't you think?
You get an accolade for the first 10,000 because it's a landmark. But once you've got that far, views tend to build up faster and faster - so if they issued accolades for 20k, 30k etc, they would be coming in thick and fast! The next big hurdle is 100,000 and that's when the next accolade is.
The next traffic accolade after 10,000 is 100,000. https://hubpageshelp.com/features/Learn … -accolades
Congrats for reaching the 50k mark! I agree with Susana and Marisa, you should receive the next accolade when you reach the 100k views milestone.
Okay, I see, but for people who don't know that it looks as if you never developed or the article must be boring before you finally reach the 100,000. Additionally, I still think it would be helpful to get the other steps in between or at least the 50,000 as this shows the readers the article/hub must be interesting. Thanks anyway for your replies and best of luck to all of you!
If you're successful on HubPages, 90% of your readers will never ever see your accolades.
The only people who look at accolades are other Hubbers, who are not readers, they're writers.
If you think that's bad, once you reach 100,000 you don't get another one until you reach 1,000,000.
And once you reach 10,000.000 the next accolade is 100,000,000. Not in my lifetime.
The accolade I care about is sent to pay pal 28th of every month.
Be happy if you get a MONTHLY pay to paypal! Still wonder how I can reach this.
Congrats on reaching the 50k mark. If you keep writing the accolades will come a lot faster.

Do you think, it would be very encouraging to get accolades after completing every 10,000 views?

Presently, the subject accolade is set up to reflect when a hubber reaches 1000, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000, 10,000,000 and 100,000,000 views. I believe that it should be revised to where it would reflect 1000, 10,000, 25,000, 50,000, 75,000, 100,000 views, with the all of other levels remaining...

Why doesn't HP have an accolade for 25,000 or 50,000 reads?

When someone posts a hub like "How to be succesful on Hubpages" I look at their total page views accolade to see if they really are succesful. If that person has hundreds of hubs but only 1000 page views accolade, well....If that hubber has an accolade for 100,000, he may have 900,000...

I think you need a badge that is awarded for individuals Hub achievements, such as: if one Hub receives over 5,000 views, that's quite an achievement - there should be a badge for that.

I think I've lost one accolade. Does Admin remove the accolade if you are no longer actively engaged in that category?
