What garbage.  "Swine Flu" mutated on 1,000,000+ hog farms in Verecruz, Oaxaca provinces, etc.  Smithfield farms and other meat manufacturers bounced down there when NAFTA was ratified because it made more sense, fiscally.  The virus has had plenty of time to mutate amongst 75,000 pigs being slaughtered a day (on each mega-intensive farm).  You don't get the damn virus from a pig, you get it from air-to-air contact from other humans who have encountered the new virus.

Eat, lick and pet as many pigs as you want, you won't get the damn virus.  The virus is done with pigs, and it's not nearly as potent as once thought.  If your best buds have gone to those southern Mexican provinces, just wait a week and see if they get the flu.

It's not hard to avoid, just don't be stupid as hell.
