One of my hubs has just achieved 50,000 views.  I could not resist sharing!

Well done Sally! Is that the first? Which one?

Might be best not to say, could encourage some trolls, think I will keep that my little secret.  Yes, it is my first, probably not much when you hear of people having hubs going viral etc.,  Anyway I am pleased.

Lots of good news coming out from various veteran writers over the past few days, weeks, months, which bodes well for this site and hopefully will encourage and inspire others to raise the bar and get cracking with more good quality hubs!
Well done you. Mini celebrations, minor milestones and tiny successes all add spice to the pot.

That is a great comment, thank you and may your own pot boil hot, rich and spicy.

That's great congrats. I'm always afraid to share milestones because I never want to come off as vain or conceited particularly to new writers. It can go either way; they may feel inspired or defeated. I love reading about success stories personally because it pushed me to try harder.

Thanks again for sharing and good luck to you.

Thanks, Chris, I know how you feel.  I hope I won't be seen to be conceited.  That is not something I recognise in myself.  I just want others to know what is achievable.   I do know though how much time and effort it takes:)

Exactly that's what everyone should take from it and I think they do.

Congratulations Sally.  That's quite an achievement.  Interestingly, while I usually focus on daily and weekly views to see what is currently trending, your comment inspired me to take a quick look at my total views by doing a sort on total views.  I was surprised to find a few with the highest total views, which I personally do not consider my best Hubs, were still generating two or three daily and weekly views.  While I have periodically updated them two were first  ten years ago and a couple of others between three and five years ago.  Congrats again and keep up the good work!

Well done. It's horrible when you've put 3-4 hours + stats checking and promotion time into a hub over months/years and still it's not got to 10,000 smile ... which is most of them.

I had one that got up to 50,000 quite quickly, then completely died.  It was a spur of the moment item that happened to hit a trend of the day - a very short-lived event.  It's had 1 hit this month smile

My worst one, published over a year ago, has a total of 32 views smile
