hello all, this is my first topic on hubpages.com so i would ask you to post replies.
I am in hubpages.com since 2 months and i daily get about 300+ visits. 6 days ago i completed 10,000 visits and by the time writing this post i have total 11,900 visits. but the main problem is that click rate is too low. adsense show 200+ visits/day but i hardly get clicks. if i ever get clicks then the rate is too low to tell.
do i need some specific amount of daily visits. all my visits are real, no fake traffic. please help
On HubPages most authors earn somewhere between $2 and $6 for every 1000 times their hubs are viewed. If you are in that range, the click through rate you are seeing is probably fairly normal. The three most important factors that affect CTR on HubPages are:
1) the source of your traffic - search is best
2) the subject matter of your hub - topics where your visitors are trying to determine where to spend their money do the best
3) the position of your ads - you can influence this a bit by the way you layout your capsules
firstly ,
congrats you for getting ,
more than 10,000 views.
i think you have set all your hubs to high priority ads.
the next thing is ,
you have written good articles & visitors are reading content only & leave your webpage with no ads link.
the other factor is you getting mostly traffic from hubpages.
&
they all fully know about adsense.
therefore , they come only to find their needs & some of them don't click ads becoz
there are chances that they click your profile & read more hubs,
when they finished reading,
they in place of clicking ads,
click on,
forums,
q&a,
by topics,
hubs
or hubbers.
but when a outside visitor comes ,
there are chances to click on ads ,
so , try increasing outside traffic to get more earnings.
& pauldeeds reason for getting 2-3 $ per 1000 visit is that ,
you are getting most of your traffic from hubpages.

Is there any way to find out what type of ad it was that got clicked, even the exact ad? I have many that get me over a buck per click. It seems to come down to what your...

I just accidentally clicked on an ad in my own hub! Will Google Adsense ban me for one click?!I'm a little bit freaked out right now. I accidentally clicked on an adsense link in my own hub. Would Google ban me for that one mistake? Have other Hubbers done this by accident and their accounts been...

I was reading that Google will know if you clicked one of your ads from a different computer with a different IP address. For example, you go to work and go to one of your articles on your work computer and click an ad. It's the same as going to an internet cafe and doing it there, basically. I...

I accidentally clicked on one of the ads on a Hub of my own tonight--did that one other time, more than a year ago (I think), and that time I went through the whole rigamarole of notifying Google what a bad boy am I. Since then, though, I seem to recall seeing a "post or three"...
