Ok, this is the type of question that I can't find the answer to, no matter how much I search on here or on google.
Here I go:
I've now set up URL channels for all my hubs on here and my profile. (I have no other sites that use adsense) Are there any other pages on hubpages that I can possibly be earning off of (feeds)?
The reason I ask is, the earnings from my channels never, ever add up with how much I've earned in the entire day.
For example (these are fake earning numbers).
Say I made $5.00 today. I made $2.50 from channel #1, $1.00 from channel #2, $1.00 from channel 3. That's $4.50 in total from all my channels. Where is that other .50 cents coming from?
I thought that it might be impressions, but I have the understanding that the earnings would still be showing up under each channel. Right?
If anyone could explain this, I'd appreciate it. It is really confusing to me!
Yes, there are other pages you earn off. First is your referrals. Second is hot/best/latest lists. May be more, but those just came to mind
Ok, well I don't think I have any referrals. So it must be the hot/best/latest lists. Will add those to my channels and can see if I can "balance" out my earnings.
I may have done poorly in my accounting classes in school, but I still like everything to add up! hahaha
thanks
LOL You are welcome, but I am afraid you don't have enough channels for what you are planning to do
Not sure what you mean?
I have an individual URL channel for each of my hubs to track my earnings and where they are coming from. (Now I also have channels for the urls of my hot/best/latest lists, too)
I believe the maximum number of adsense channels is 500 currently. There are way more pages your ad may appear time to time
Ahhh, I see. Well for now I only have 58 hubs so I still have a few trackers left. It's too bad that they donn't have unlimited URL trackers!
These two url channels should cover most of what you are missing, assuming you aren't using referral trackers.

hubpages.com/profile/girly_girl09/
I added my profile the other day, but did not think to add the /author/ page. That could definitely be the cause of this.
Thanks!

Can I put in hubpages.com for a channel? Will that track all of my earnings from Hubpages so that I can have a separate channel for everything on my own sites/s?I've never been clear on this. Thanks for any help in advance!

I've used up all my 200 URL channels but want to track my recent hubs, so I went in and marked about 25 of the older channels and deactivated them. I just want to make sure that by deactivating them in my AdSense account, all that means is that I won't know if they are being clicked, right?...

Sorry, just can't help it. But I've been here 3 weeks, with 7 hubs, and no earnings. Am not complaining, I was prepared to wait and hubbers here are great! But right after I published my 2 hubs in the HubChallenge for 3 days now I have $0.47! This is great!Day 1:...

Will they still be allowed to continue writing for the niche sites or will this site be diluted as our best writers and their work leave for a better deal?

I see when visitors visit the referral links but how do we know if we are getting ad-sense clicks? Somewhere I read you have a 120 minutes I believe to claim a link whoever clicks your ref. link and a add with in the 120 min. you get credit for. What Happens when the 120 min. are over?

I have seen some discussion about using channels here for hubs and honestly, being a newbie I have'nt got that far yet. (this is definitely an earn while I learn experience!) So my question is for those that use the channel feature- what is the best way to go about using them and have you made more...
