That's my way of getting your attention (55% of all adult Americans have a car loan)..
I wrote a hub recently that has been nominated as a potential hub nugget..
I am very grateful that it has been nominated because it gives me the opportunity to ask all you hubbers to read this I wrote and get the very important word out..
If you have an auto loan, you may be in for a world of headache, if you aren't prepared! Check this hub out, and even if you don't vote for it as a hub nugget of the week, please pass thin info along to everyone you know who has an auto note...
Sorry man, but this is the wrong place to promote your hub. You are breaking forum rules.
I've seen a few other folks on here today promoting their hubnugget page & asking for votes...I did a post, too because I figured it was alright if they other nominees were doing it and no one said anything lol. No one responded to my post anyways.
I did not see those Girly. I would have said the same if I had
EDIT Actually went through the forums and took a look. The other guys did not post links to their hubs, and their titles were not about promoting the hubs - at least those two that I looked at
Yeah, I looked and noticed that all the other nominees that posted about it here basically just posted a thank you for the nomination.. I didn't realize I was breaking the rules..
If I understand this correctly, I SHOULD post a link to my hub at ANY of my other forums that I frequent, but I SHOULDN'T do so here? If this be the case, my apologies.. (I would remove my link if I could, but it appears as though I can't), but I can't say it makes sense..
Hey, I am learning..
Misha, I am confused.. I was basing my thread here upon this thread..
I am all for following the rules, but C doesn't have any of the "you are breaking the rules" comments on his thread... Actually he has received congratulations from many..
So please, explain this to me... And then please, I implore you, delete my thread here if it is breaking the rules..
Hey, I can't delete it, I am not staff
I think Maddie (HP moderator) is away, she usually reacts pretty fast. She will just remove your link when she is back. And I posted on the other thread too, you are absolutely correct, it is breaking the rules
Oh, and nobody REQUIRE that you promote your hubs on other forums, this is solely between yourself and those forums
Thank you, I didn't mean require.. Let me rephrase.
Hubpages suggests as a traffic builder that we post links to our hubs anywhere that we can, as long as it is pertinant to the website we are on (i.e. not spam).. But they DO NOT suggest that we do the same here?
I am just wanting to make sure I understand this, for future reference..
that is why I was confused, too!!! lol. Oh, well. Now we'll know for sure next time!
Yes, your understanding is correct - this is the place for hubbers to hang out and get help, this is not a place for self-promotion

There are a lot of us who haven't been feeling safe on the forums. They've felt stalked, harassed and browbeaten.Sadly, some folks go with the letter of the law, but not the spirit of it in their posts. For an excellent...

Some of us are encountering an issue in the forum. On the front page, it will indicate that responses have been made since we last participated in a thread, but when we click on the name of the most recent respondent,...

I have noticed a few questions asked by newbies that have been asked before and so many times it is probably impossible to count. I have noticed comments of annoyance at the same questions being asked yet again. I am...

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and...

While I'm being a policeman, I can't help noticing that there's a lot of self-promotion that goes on in the forums. Especially the "other topics" forums, where quite often you'll find posts with not much...

HubPages does not use a flat forum structure but replies are placed underneath the post to which they reply. This means that when a thread becomes huge people can still place posts in the middle of the thread. In other...
