Hi! New here as of a few mins ago I'm looking for a place to blog/post/share about my family's upcoming cross-country trip around the USA. We've entitled it "80 Days Around the USA". Would this be a proper venue for this type of thing? I wanted to start now talking about the planning and then continue with the trip from August-November. Thanks!
Welcome, chelegirly. Not to poo-poo Hubpages, but for posting-as-you-go on a cross-country trip, a blog (Blogger or Wordpress) would be the more suitable venue.
You might consider writing a few hubs like "How to Prepare for a Roadtrip" and maybe write a hub about each of the stops you make along the way. What's a good tourist location, good entertainment, good food, etc.
Definitely do a blog for a diary version, but you should be able to get some great articles out of this, too.
Include the RSS feed from your blog on your hubs. I think it could be pretty successful.
