Text Capsule in Google Chrome

When i edit the format of text on a hub while using Google Chrome, It does not save.  Things like paragraphing and headings work, but Bold, Italic, and Underline will not be saved after the text is done being edited.  In the hub it simply ignores all of the instances that i bolden, italicize or underline text.

      Hi Koby,

Thanks for reporting this issue.  I will take a look.

I'll post an update on this thread when I've found out what's up.

Have you tried using a different browser? hmm hope that helps.

This happens for me, too. The text appears to format correctly in the capsule but after saving it, it is no longer formatted.

OK, I figured out the issue with Chrome.  The same issue will also affect Safari.

I'll try to have the fix in by tomorrow.  I'll post on this thread if it goes out.

OK, this issue should now be fixed.  Bold, italics, and underline should work fine in the text capsule with both Chrome and Safari.

This is of low priority to me at the moment, but now that you have fixed the problem, it's messy in HTML.  When I press "Clean Up" it messes with the intended formatting because it's using tags (Such as "span") that are told to be ignored by your system.

        Hi Koby,

Yep, that's not acceptable.  It should now be fixed.  You should be able to make a bold and an italic at the same time, click "clean up" and see the <span> tag cleanly changed to <em>,<strong>, or <u>.

Thanks Larry - haven't tried it yet - but it will be great to do it on Chrome!
